Beautiful Parasporos Beach, just 3 km south of Parikia, is justifiably one the most popular beaches on the island of Paros. Tucked in a sheltered bay, the long, sandy beach offers an ideal swimming, sunbathing and sporting locale prized by both residents and visitors alike.
The beach of Agios Fokas is situated at a distance of some 6 kilometers far from Paroikia at the North, very close to the homonymous cape at the entrance of the bay of Paroikia. Very close to the beach it is found the small twin church of Agios Sostis and Analipsi, where on the feast of Analipsi it takes place a local feast (“panighyri”).
Faraggas is a beautiful beach in southern Paros, completely sheltered from the winds, lying in the arms of a small, deep creek. The fine golden sand and crystal clear waters have turned Faragas a very popular destination, particularly for those who want the comfort that can offer a cosmopolitan organized beach.
Soros beach is a popular long sandy beach organized with sunbeds and umbrellas with sapphire waters and trees offering natural shade to the bathers. It is not suggested for families with children since the water in many spots suddenly deepens and the seabed is abrupt, with some rocks found even near the shore.
Set in a lovely cove fully protected from the summer winds, Apantima is a charming pebbly beach with crystal clear waters and a rocky sea bottom providing an atmosphere of serene calm in the most picturesque of settings. One of the islands best restaurants is situated right above the beach offering swimmers a great selection of local specialties and drinks to quench their thirst.
Comprised of two consecutive beaches, Psaraliki I and Psaraliki II, Psaraliki beach is a family friendly sandy beach with shallow waters ideal for family breaks and water sports activities. Pedal boats, windsurfing, swimming, snorkelling and beach tennis are available as well as a number of picturesque taverns and music clubs.
Named after Sifnos Island that can be seen in a distance, this enchanting beach is a pure haven of tranquillity with crystal clear waters and golden sand. It is exposed to the summer winds so its waters can get pretty rough otherwise it is ideal for swimming and snorkelling adventures.
