Pounta beach is located in the south-east part of the island and is very popular for the ongoing parties that organised on the beach. It is relatively small in size but very beautiful looks like a tropical and exotic place. It is always over-crowded, especially by young people, that enjoy partying and extreme sports such as bungee jumping. This beach offers the right conditions for kite surfing and wind surfing. It is the ideal beach for beginners due to the stable wind. There is a school for those who need professional help to improve their skills and rent the necessary equipment.
