Let explore the Sailing Holidays area... Add Santorini to favorites

Santorini belongs to the insular complex of Cylcades and is probably the most intriguing island in Greece. The strange beauty of this island is a result of a volcanic eruption which took place about 3.500 years ago. Its name is more than enough to unfold in mind stunning sunsets and scenery, white, red and black sand beaches, impressive traditional houses, balconies with a volcano view and a lively night life.

There are many archaeological sites worth to be visited, such as Akrotiri and Ancient Thira. The churches and the traditional settlements create a unique picture that leaves no one untouched. The submergence of Santorini is connected to the legend of the lost Atlantis, which is said to disappear during this catastrophic eruption.

Santorini is famous worlwide for its sunset when the sun disappears into the sea painting the sky with beautiful colors. In the field of entertainment, Santorini offers many options that satisfy all tastes. Restaurants, traditional taverns, cafes and clubs are part of this foremost cosmopolitan island in Greece.
