Anchorage can be obtained in approximately the middle of the bay, at depths of between 18 and 33 m. Smaller vessels can anchor close to the western side of the pier, at depths of between 4 and 6 m. Good anchorage for strong north and northwest winds can be obtained at the northwest head of the bay of Alínta, bearing the light of the bay at 110º, in a distance of 0.6 miles at depths of approximately 24 m.

Leros Marina is the first private marina and boatyard in the Dodecanese sailing area. The Leros Municipal Airport (IATA: LRS), serving the island of Leros, is in the northeast part of the island in Partheni, 17km from Lakki, only 20 minutes drive from the marina.
