The bay of Lakkí provides an excellent and safe anchorage, at depths of between 13 and 46 m, in a bottom that consists of mud. Caution must be taken to avoid the rocky areas. It is advisable to veer plenty of cable as a precaution against strong west and northwest winds that can raise waves with a total height of 2.5 m at the bay and with a total height of 1 m at the port.
