Navigational Aids
Within a small cove of unique beauty, and just 15 km from Nidri, a landscape of hills surrounds the pretty harbor of Sivota. A fishing harbor located 33 km south of the island’s capital in a beautiful bay of the same name, Sivota is an ideal place to relax and a very good spot to stop as there is an equipped port and a market.
Port Spilia is the other harbor of Meganisi in the Ionian Islands. Lying at the head of a deep inlet at the northwest end of the island, the harbor provides berthing for around 50 yachts on its various quays and pontoons, although the depths in the inlet are simply too great for most yachts to anchor.
Dimossari canyon is 2 km away from Nydri village . The area is ideal for canyoning especially in the summer because the waterfalls and the thick forest keep the temperature low.
Nydrí is a seaside village (population 865) in the prefecture of Lefkáda. It is situated in the E part of the island and it is the best-known and most popular tourist resort of the island.
Α walk in the pedestrian street of the central market with its many shops and cafés in the west coast of the island is ideal for all tastes. The Central Market is next to the Venetian canal, which allows guests to enjoy the magical sunset in Gira.
Yacht Café Bar is located at the waterfront of Sivota and it stands out of the wooden yacht just outside. On the deck there are tables and chairs so visitors can enjoy their coffee or a drink.
After the beach Agiofili the tip of the peninsula, under the camping Kastri will find a pretty little beach with sand, white pebbles and crystal clear waters. Access by boat.
Among the villages and Marantochori Kontarena, turn to the bay and beach Kastri Ammousso. After 5 km you will reach the beach on the beach 'Ammousso, a small bay with fine pebbles and water.
Located on the south side of the island next to Agiofili. If you do not follow the dirt road from Marantochori, about 5 km, you have to catch a boat from Vassiliki or walk.
When you reach the beach by Ammousa Marantochori turn left and follow the dirt road for about 800ria measures. You will find yourself in a tiny cove with white pebbles and crystal clear waters.
Just after the picturesque village of Evgiros, the fully surfaced road continues 3km down to the romantic beach of Afteli, which is not very long but is also not often crowded. The only building is a villa, constructed by one occupant near the stone beach.
Mikros Gialos is the charming coast of the picturesque homonymous south settlement of the island. The scenery is the perfect combination of white, azure and green since the coast is nestled within lush vegetation and is full of white small pebbles.

The bay lies on the small peninsular near to Vilcho. It is surrounded by a large campsite located uphills, which has a superb view.
The beach of Vasiliki is 37 kilometres south of the capital of the island.Vassiliki is fairly quiet at the start and end of the summer season, but really comes to life in July and August when it is recognised as one of the windsurfing capitals of Europe.
