The port is protected by a curved mole of northwest-southwest direction, which is 430 meters long, and a leeward mole that extends to the southwest for 60 meters. The shores of the small port are quayed and on its southeast side there are slipways.
At a distance of about 50 meters from the extension of the windward mole there is a projection above water which marks the rocky area formed west and south of it. Its entrance is open to the northwest and its width is about 35 meters. Depths at its entrance are about 1.3 meters.
