The Municipality of Saronikos was created by the merger of the former municipalities Kalyvia Thorikou and Anavyssos and the communities of Kouvaras, Saronida and Palaia Fokea.

Small sandy beach with Thyme fine gravel is shortly after the Old Fokea and beachside tavernas, located 55 kilometers southeast of downtown Athens. Shortly after the Old Fokea and taverns, you'll see the sign 'Thymari'.

Sandy beach in the well protected bay of Sounion, where in ancient times was located in the dockyard of the Athenian fleet, located across from the archeological site near the site of the hotel units, approximately 68 kilometers southeast of downtown Athens. Towards the Legraina, but well before you get there, you encounter on your right a sign that says in large letters visible 'property CRES'. At that point turn right and follow the road until the first big flat (no more than 4 minutes road).

Shortly after Legrena and below the Grecotel hotel is a small sandy beach. Plriros organized by the hotel offers magnificent waters for swimming, overlooking the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion.

Other feature of this beach is that the wider environment is quite good with lots of trees and away from the road.
