Sailing Holidays in Agios Vasileios

The capital of Agios Vasileios is the little town of Spili which is a pretty mountainous town with cobbled streets and plane trees best known for its unique Venetian fountain which spurts water from nineteen lion heads. Plakias is a tranquil fishing village at the foot of the mountains with a beautiful, long sandy beach.

The river Milopotamos cuts the beach in half and its banks are lined with palm-trees attracting a plethora of visitors making it the busiest of beaches. Agia Galini is another picturesque little town suffering from an overdose of tourism.
